Share document via eMail

A user asked today if the document could be directly shared via eMail via a button. I assume there would be 3 options:

• Button to attach the document as attachment to an email in local mail client. (size?)
• Button to send a link within an email in local mail client
• eMail functionality to send link/document via the builtin email server

I would tend to options 1 or 2, what do you think?
