I'm getting these all the time:

Is this a new limitation from these sites? downloads fail a lot so I have to make some "passes" to try to redownload the missing files.

It seems the site is being bombarded by users, or/and they hardened anti-downloader measures.

Turns out that it is a problem in gallery-dl after all.

Same. I can't get it to download a single video now, and it has nothing to do with my network.

yep, VPN fails, direct internet fails too. They are somehow detecting the downloader.
Let's try changing the user agent to something else and see if that helps.
