Winget Installation

Good morning, I've been using this CLI application for a while now, and I actually installed it simply by using winget for Windows 10. It was working flawlessly (even though the guide specified installing the application with pip) but suddenly it doesn't work anymore. Basically, it simply straight-up just says that it cannot find the specified command all of a sudden.

Does anyone have an idea what is going on?

Reinstalling the application via Winget solves the issue, I still wonder why typing the command suddenly wouldn't work anymore though.

Do you mean it doesn't tab-complete in the terminal?
How did you install? winget install --id mikf.gallery-dl or just winget install gallery-dl? Did you use --scope?
What's the output for winget list gallery-dl? You may have accidentally installed both regular and nightly, but I don't think that would cause any issues.

Just winget install gallery-dl no use of scope

The output for winget list gallery-dl is the following:

Looks like only one version of it is installed...

Does it tab-complete? What happens if you type galler in the terminal and press Tab? Does it complete to gallery-dl.exe?

Also, when you say reinstalling solves the issue, do you mean until the next run or permanently, i.e. you haven't had issues since?

Finally, what's the output of winget --info? User-scope (default, unless specified otherwise in the manifest) packages get installed into the Portable Package Root (User) location under Winget Directories, which is usually %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\WinGet\Packages. The shortcuts go to Portable Links Directory (User), usually %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\WinGet\Links. Is gallery-dl there? Is it (also) in any other of the locations listed under Winget Directories?

Typing galler and tabbing doesn't autocomplete

It's been two weeks, I haven't had issues yet.
