chore(deps): downgrade gradle wrapper to 8.14.4 instead of 9.x

Reverts the gradle-wrapper 9.3.1 upgrade from Dependabot and instead
updates both root and android wrappers from 8.14.2 to 8.14.4 (latest 8.x).
