"Play similar songs" and jellyfin instant-mix?

Hi,
I use jellyfin as server and i have a plugin enabled to be able to configure my Instant Mix in jellyfin.
However when i use "Play similar songs" in feishin, that plugin is not triggered so i assume this is done client-side, right?
would it be a good idea / or even possible to use the server feature for this?

For Jellyfin, Feishin uses items/:itemId/similar first, and only if that fails/is empty does it fall back to songs/:itemId/InstantMix
