Open in VSCode

I want to set VSCode as the default opener. How do I do this? I'm messing around with the options and variables but it's not working. Everything keeps opening in vim.

What does work:

• go to file
• press 'o'
• type 'code', enter
• choose either cli or gui

I'm trying this in Windows Terminal with WSL, and with a VSCode terminal in a devcontainer. Both running Ubuntu.

In Windows Terminal it opens a new VSCode window if not already running, and open the file in a tab. In VSCode terminal it opens a tab in the current instance. All very nice, I want this behavior with just "enter".

On enter nnn uses xdg-open by default on linux. On windows I think it uses cygstart. So you'll need to either configure xdg-open/cygstart or use a custom opener via NNN_OPENER (see the manpage and the nuke plugin in this repo for example).
