Showing relative line numbers

Often I want to use the J key (Jump to entry/offset) but then I have to "calculate" the amount of rows by my own with my eyes. So for example J +10 for going down 10 lines. But often it was 8 or 11 or something like that. So it would be really cool if there would be an option in nnn to show relative line numbers like in (n)vim or other file managers like xplr

We don't have any plans to show relative numbers.

Here is an example how xplr is rendering the nnn plugins directory for example. Focus is at cmusq. If I want to jump to boom I just can do (and see) it with the classic vim keystroke 4k. If I want to jump to dups it is just a 3j. I can do almost exactly the same with nnn and the J key, but I cannot see immediately with my eyes which number I have to enter. So in nnn it would be J-4 to jump to boom but I have to count all of the lines by myself. This is especially difficult with large lists. I know I could also just start a search with / but directly jumping to a line number/index is really convenient in my opinion 🙂 I could also imagine that nnn is not rendering the index at all but only after pressing the J key to get a visual indicator where to jump to directly.
