Getting Started with Ingero

Ingero is an eBPF-based GPU causal observability agent. It traces CUDA Runtime/Driver APIs and host kernel events to explain why your GPU workloads are slow.

Quick Start (no GPU needed)

git clone https://github.com/ingero-io/ingero.git
cd ingero && make build
./bin/ingero demo incident          # See a causal chain form in real-time
./bin/ingero demo cold-start        # Model loading latency scenario
./bin/ingero demo memcpy-bottleneck # Data transfer bottleneck

With a GPU (requires sudo + NVIDIA driver 550+)

sudo ./bin/ingero check             # Verify system compatibility
sudo ./bin/ingero trace --duration 60s  # Trace for 60 seconds
./bin/ingero explain --since 60s    # See causal chains

MCP Server (for Claude, Cursor, etc.)

./bin/ingero mcp --http :8090       # Start MCP server
