If anyone could please help with the failed test during build please? Not sure what to do from here.

I followed the troubleshooting by running:
make -j 8
./run_tests -i always_ok -p 2

and that didn't fail.

New to Linux but willing to learn. Let me know what I should do.

rsync is missing

sudo apt install rsync

will solve that

you more than likely can just ignore this test failure though
