Open a window on top and focus an input text item

Hi everyone,

I would like to know how to open a window on top (set it as the active window in Windows) and then focus an input text item. The idea is that when this window is opened, I can write immediately in the input text item without having to click. I tried writing dpg.focus_item() before dpg.start_dearpygui(), but apparently this function doesn't work at this point.
