Thats an interesting point, I've had a lot of people talk about TDD and error driven development, something definitely to explore

Also I found this regarding the complaints of "overengineering", so maybe there could be procedures that start from an open-ended project skeleton (folder structure?), and slowly loading in new features while having TDD for ease of checking. https://www.reddit.com/r/cursor/comments/1k99ope/my_experience_with_claude_taskmaster/

I utilized TDD right from the start and it integrates very well with Task-Master (i am no software dev, but a hobbyist for over 30 years, so my execution might be lacking)
I attached my documentation that i use to remember the ai if needed. But overall for each task we always planned the tests first - its a gods end as it saved me so much issues in the long run. I am using MyPy and detailed how the system works overall in the guide (as i have a very strict folder structure for this, and needed it to be scaleable).
Its obviously very tailered to my project - i am constantly updating this the same like rules or tasks

Maybe it helps someone... Overall i just started with having a mention of using TDD as aproach in my rdd.txt -> the rest unfolded alone. Sitting at roughly 300 tests already that saved my ass multiple times by catching issues soon enough...

@nica-ev looks mostly okay, just make sure that it is task-agnostic and it should be okay (not gonna ask it to be language-agnostic atm). Also have you seen the other tools with caching notes and insights? #487
