<h2><font color="#7F0000">Description of the workshop</font></h2>


The workshop takes place October 6-7, 2025 at the University of Washington
and will focus on collaborations between core <a
href="http://www.clawpack.org">Clawpack</a> developers, their students, and
users with new development needs.
<p>

It immediately follows the
<a
href="https://sites.google.com/view/2025siampnwconference/home">
5th Biennial Meeting of the Pacific Northwest Section of SIAM</a>
(Jointly with the 35th Pacific Northwest Numerical Analysis Seminar).


<p>
The Github repository <a
href="https://github.com/clawpack/clawdev-2025">clawpack/clawdev-2025</a>
contains these webpages and can also be used for sharing resources.
<p>
The <a href="https://github.com/clawpack/clawdev-2025/wiki">wiki</a>
in this repository can be used for suggesting projects (preferably
with links to relevant Github Issues).

<h3>Tentative Schedule</h3>
<ul>

Monday October 6:  We will meet at 9:00am in
<a href="https://www.washington.edu/maps/#!/lew">Lewis Hall 208</a>,
the Wan Conference room.
<p>

Tuesday October 7: We will meet at 9:00am in the meeting room of the eScience
<a href="https://escience.washington.edu/about/wrf-data-science-studio/">
WRF Data Science Studio</a> on the 6th floor of the
<a href="https://www.washington.edu/maps/?pat">Physics & Astronomy Tower</a>
on the southwest corner of the University of Washington campus.
It's a nice space and also will give us a chance to talk with the
<a
href="https://escience.washington.edu/using-data-science/office-hours/#data-scientist">
eScience Data Scientists</a> and/or the
<a href="https://escience.washington.edu/software-engineering/ssec/">
UW Scientific Software Engineering Center (SSEC)</a>,
folks who have expertise on many topics related to
Clawpack and GeoClaw development.
