wifimanger is not shown after wificonfig 2 by athom smart plug (PG01 V3 EU16A)

hi,

i own a few smartplug from the brand athom where i want to change the wifi password.
But there i meet some problem which i cant solve by my self or with an work around

Smartplug:
exact model is PG01 V3 EU16A
they are using a ESP32-C3
Tasmota version 15.3.0 actuall release

What i was doing:
I want to change my wifi setting by using the wificonfig 2 mode.
Dont ask for change the wifi setting directly in the wifi page this is not working for me.
My wifi password got a ";" at the end so tasmota is not reachable anymore. Because tasmota is not using the right wifi password.
But with the WifiManager, there isn't the same problem. Setted over the Wifi Manager means the password works without a problem.

Here now the wifimanager problem:
First of all the wifi ap mode starts but after connection through my iphone (ios 26.4) there is now captive portal automaticaly shown.
The ios stayed in the wifi setting page and nothing is happening
also a try in safari with the ip 192.168.4.1 is not showing the wifimanager, you will see the standard device landing page.

I expeced the same behavior like you see it on a esp8266 device
With a esp8266 the wificonfig 2 mode is directly starting after connection to the wifi a kind of captiv portal and diretly opening the wifi manager.

So did i do anything wrong?
Or is this bug?
