We know, we don't support old Python versions. EoL for 3.5 is next year. Please see: 1954bf5

Again if you would provide a patch I am willing to merge it. But I won't invest my own time to support old python versions.

Possible you can add some notes to docs or requirements about what version of django-select2 supports what version of python

"EoL for 3.5 is next year" ??? In my country now is 2018 year... EoL for 3.5 is 2020-09-13. Are you in 2019 ? Django 2.1, 2.2 will support python 3.5 (https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/faq/install/#what-python-version-can-i-use-with-django). But there is no release for these versions yet...

Anyhow. I don't mind anyone patching it, I just won't do it myself, since I mostly use 3.7 or 3.6.
