How to inject multiple fields using MDI

I have a Update transform configured in a pipeline. I want to create this pipeline dynamic so I use ETL Metadata Injection to dynamically configure the pipeline.

How do I configure ETL Metadata Injection transform to pass multiple fields in "Update Fields" section that need to be updated in Update Transform

You just need to pass multiple rows

Won't it trigger the update transform multiple times for every column that I need updated in the row?

For example:
If I have a row with 3 columns - id, isdeleted, lastmodifieddate, out of which I need to update columns isdeleted, lastmodifieddate. In future there could be more columns that need to be updated (this part is dynamic - so I chose MDI)

Id goes into "lookup keys" section

I now need to update isdeleted=true and lastmodifieddate to NOW() from Hop

The MDI is one of the few transforms where you can pass in multiple streams with different layouts.
Take a look at metadata-injection/process-files-with-mdi.hpl in the samples project, that's probably pretty close to what you want to do.
