What type to use for an empty json object?

The object is in the json file, but it's supposed to always stay empty.

Could you provide a short example? i don't quite understand what you mean.

If the object fields maybe null, you can use std::optional field.

Same with glaze, serializing an empty struct with struct_json will generate empty json string: {}
