The install instructions note that no known issues exist for Ubuntu 24.04.

However, there's a clear issue with cURL that pops up the moment you run the program. I understand the issue lies with Ubuntu, but it'd be best to say that there will be problems and potentially list this link to the workaround

The issue you are encountering is not a defect in onedrive, but rather a known limitation in the version of curl / libcurl provided by Ubuntu. The client is using curl as intended, and the observed failure originates from the distribution-supplied dependency rather than the application.

For that reason, it is not classified as a known issue with onedrive.

That said, it’s completely understandable that this can be confusing, as users quite reasonably expect a supported distribution to function correctly “out of the box”. This is why the documentation includes a dedicated section covering curl compatibility, along with the recommended upgrade and workaround options.
