Can you add the option to choose kbeery in Gateway?

There is no documentation for it in node.js. It's only python, as far as i can see. If it can work as pure FT1.2 interface, i may take a look at it, but it's not my primary concern yet. Other than that, i have no FT1.2 interface to test with!

Are you able to install this version 4.0.29-beta.0 and check if it works with your KBERRY?
This is NOT TESTED, because my KBERRY will arrive tomorrow and i had no chances to test it.
To install a beta, just cd into your ./node-red folder and type

npm install [email protected]

Then restart node-red and go to the gateway config window. Alongside the KNX/IP gateway list, you should find the serial ports as well.

node-red-contrib-knx-ultimate v4.1.1 is out with KBERRY compatibility, even with KNX Data Secure.
I don't know the serial port where your kberry is hanged to, but it should be /dev/ttyAMA0

Have you already used KBERRY on a Rpi before?
Have you set the RPi properly?

• Edit cmdline.txt: Open the file with sudo nano /boot/cmdline.txt and remove the line console=serial0,115200.
• Enable the UART: Open config.txt with sudo nano /boot/config.txt and add the line dtoverlay=pi3-miniuart-bt. This is particularly important for Raspberry Pi 3 models to ensure the correct UART is mapped to the header pins.
• Reboot the Raspberry Pi for the changes to take effect.

Do you know how the serial port works? If the serial port is already occupied by the captureKNX, KNXUltimate cannot open it. Serial ports cannot be shared between applications.

So I install kberry on new rpi and share you info. I do it today.

From Internet:

 Start sudo raspi-config and find serial in the Interfaces menu.
Answer NO to the question about login shell.
Answer YES to the question about serial hardware port.
Reboot.

The serial port device name will be /dev/serial0

Good. It should work. Try to remove the power cable from the raspberry, eait fwe seconds and restart.
