Gira S1 connection

Hello Support,

I've been using this node-red KNX Ultimate for a number of years, connected to my Gira S1 without any issues. A few weeks back I updated the Gira firmware and am now unable to connect to my KNX bus.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

i need more infos to track the issue, but you can try to power off your Gira S1 for a minute or two, then power it on again. This could free the UDP tunnels and let KNX Ultimate to connect.
You must also check wether the new firmware has disabled or changed the tunneling properties of the Gira S1.

the error states, that the Gira S1 has no more free tunnels. Power cycle it.
About Gira X1, i don't know that device, but the protocol and port should be the same as the Gira S1 or any other device.

Thanks, but no luck. Do you know if I can try anything else like natcat or ping to help debug this?

if the X1 refuses the connection, there is no way to connect to it. I can suggest you to try another KNX/IP interface or KNX/IP router. I cannot unfortunately help you with netcat or any other things, until the connection has been established.

Try to ask on the knx-user-forum.de community, to find out if the new fw of the Gira X! broke something.

Thanks, @Supergiovane, I will do. I have a Zennio IP router and will give that a go.

Also, I normally use port 3671. Do I use the same port for all KNX routers?

Yes, the port is always the same

Thanks, I've switched to using a Zennio IP interface, and everything is back up and running.
