Hi, Thanks for this post. Adding more to statistics is possible. It is our plan. The screenshots you have posted show what your time in range has been for every day. xDrip shows an AGP graph. I may be misunderstanding you. xDrip offers an AGP graph. We have a shortage of developers. Please help me understand you if I have misunderstood. |

Hi Navid, thanks again for your quick response :) The 1 day, 7 day, 30 days, etc, statistics are averages, not as suggested the specific, day-by-day data TIR bar graphs Such TIR bar charts are easier to interpret and utilise as a first step, compared to averages. For me, and I believe others, averages are of limited use, compared to specific day-by-day information. For example, the 7 day, 30 days, etc, PIE chart in the Statistics section are averages. I don’t know anyone in my peer group who uses those options only the 1 day option, which allows specific insight to how you’ve done that day. Once on the 7 day option, etc, is clicked the data becomes an average and therefore of limited use. For example, as I’m sure you aware, an average can hide erratic and large swings in the data. I’ve had good 3 monthly HbA1cs that have hidden consistent large swing hyper- and hypo-glycaemia. Thanks for the tip on the status line. I use that already but now have to note down each day’s TIR in order to build up a table in order to see a week, etc. The same information is, of course, also provided in the Statistics section in the second to left swipe, first line. However, again, once the 7D, 30D, etc, is clicked the percentage becomes an average, not a day-by-day specific percentage. Certainly, I understand not wanting to add more settings to xDrip as it can be imposing on first use and involves a learning curve. However, to be frank, the Pie Chart and text statistics pages though useful, could in my opinion be improved. One such option is the suggested day-by-day (not average) TIR bar chart. In my opinion, it would simplify things and provide better data. Why do you think both Dexcom and Libre use the TIR bar chart in their apps? At worst, adding such an option to the Statistics section would at least help the migration from the Dexcom and Libre apps. At best, it would provide continuity and help users start to make adjustment decisions as well as the already mentioned psychological boosts. If you are concerned with the already complicated settings wouldn’t any change involve such concerns? How about this, as an idea, why not provide an option to replace the average PIE chart with the 1 day, 7 day, 30 days, etc, day-by-day specific TIR Bar chart? Then Users can choose and the interface doesn’t get an added swipe movement to access :) |

Hi, @Judd120 As Navid said, statistics in xDrip can be improved, I think more pages to swipe left/right won't disturb or make things harder to use, it's just nice to have. PS: |

Dear xDrip+ Developers,
first just let me say a huge THANK YOU for the XDrip+ App. I recently moved over from the awful Dexcom G7 App, and slightly better, but not by much, Dexcom Clarity App. Undoubtedly Xdrip+ has made a colossal and positive difference to my life as a Type 1 Diabetic. Xdrip+ is simply light-years ahead with features and customisability - thank you!
There is however one feature from the Dexcom Clarity App which I and many in my T1D community group are missing because it provides a quick and easy display of how we are doing with our blood glucose control. Namely, the Clarity App's ‘Goal: Time In Range’ (TIR) bar graph, which can be set to 7 days, 30 Days and 90 Days. Please see screenshots below.
I would like to therefore respectfully ask if it might be possible to add such a Goal TIR Bar graph similar to the below to the ‘Statistics’ section of the xDrip+ App? I think it would be a fantastic addition.
I realise that this information is displayed in the Statistics section as an average in the [left swipe] ‘Pie Chart’ section, and in the next left swipe, as an average in text. However, despite this being useful, I and others feel the above day-by-day bar graph display is much clearer and more useful, even if only as a psychological boost of seeing we've managed to be over 70% the majority of time :)
Getting a 100% TIR one day is an even better boost!
Practically of course such day-by-day Goal TIR info also helps with bolus and basal adjustments.
Would it therefore kindly be possible to implement such a bar graph in a future update?
Perhaps a swipe right from the Statistics Start screen to bring up a similar ‘Goal: Time In Range’ bar chart as below with TD, YTD, 7D, 30D and 90D bar graphs? I am assuming it might also be possible to set the target goal, though 70% would be fine for most as it is a very common TIR target.
What do you guys think? Is this possible?
Many thanks in advance and thank you again for such a life changing application.
Judd
