REopt status inquiry

Is there a way to tell if REopt (Web Tool, API) is online and operational? Today it seems like it may be offline/inoperable. But of course it could be something I'm doing or not doing. If I could check the status it would help me troubleshoot my current inability to get results. I searched the discussions and found a similar post, the response to which suggests this is the correct place to check for and notify about reopt down status. thx, kurt

Hi - this is happening to me as well. The webpage is timing out when I am trying to access. Last week, it had some minor bugs but was still operational.

I am still having trouble accessing the web tool, its timing out repeatedly. I have tried different devices and routers, the issue persists. Please advise.

I believe there are numerous reasons an optimization analysis could time out.

Couple of thoughts:

Try running a very small (annualized electricity consumption 10,000 kWh), very simple PV-only optimization simply as a test of Web Tool status.

Try increasing optimality tolerance just to see if that will get your inputs to run

Try increasing allowed run time from default 600 seconds to maximum allowed 1200 seconds

Log in to the web site so you have access to the results JSON file produced by REopt, and paste that text into an online JSON viewer and review errors/messages

My hunch is that very large annualized electricity consumption values may produce large possible solution spaces so in this case you might experiment with running scaled-down versions (e.g., 1:10 scale) of your actual energy values
