CI & Release Reliability

  • Pinned the install-smoke workflow to Node 22 to avoid CI engine and lockfile mismatches during pnpm setup.
  • Standardized installer smoke coverage and the macOS CLI installer on https://opensoul.ai/install.sh and https://opensoul.ai/install-cli.sh.
  • Added retry and timeout handling to Docker-based installer smoke scripts to reduce transient network failures against the public install endpoints.
  • Fixed typed plugin hook wrapping so synchronous tool_result_persist handlers stay synchronous during transcript persistence.
  • Repaired the logging console-settings regression test import path and restored targeted coverage for persistence and console-setting guardrails.

CLI & Packaging

  • Switched npm publish target from GitHub Packages to public npmjs.com registry (publishConfig).
  • Added friendly Node version preinstall check (scripts/check-node-version.mjs) — gives a clear upgrade message when Node < 22.12.0.
  • Added OPENSOUL_* environment variables reference to opensoul --help output (12 vars with descriptions).
  • Added --deliver deprecation warnings in cron add and cron edit — use --announce instead.
  • Added lazy-loaded subcommand registration cache to avoid redundant dynamic imports.
