Not everybody has a first name and not everybody has a last name. Chinese people's names don't start with Latin alphabet letters. Are names' first letters evenly distributed? |
Chinese names can be written phonetically with the Latin alphabet.
http://www.nancy.cc/2011/07/01/most-popular-first-letters-girl-names-2010/ Girls names seem to be biased towards the first half of the alphabet, asians names tend to be at the end of the alphabet so it could even out. |

4th question is interesting (regarding glasses). Do you have any data regarding that? |
http://abcnews.go.com/Health/Healthday/story?id=5559295 This is US only, but I couldn't imaging the rest of the world being that different. |

3rd question isn't accurate (part of the wealthier half of your country). The answer depends on time, plus might be subjective and/or degrading. |
At any given moment in time half of people will be in the wealthier half. It depends of time in the same way the country you live in depends on time, you can move halfway through your life. You can measure wealth objectively either by how much you make yearly, how much wealth you have in assets, or how much you have in the bank. Do you really think it's degrading? I would disagree. |

looks insightful. Thank you. |
It would have more sense to me to identify someone with a unique id if the questions we ask him to do so do not depend on time. |
Well if this did depend on time, then the first question regarding gender would have to involve birth gender. |
Indeed, you're right. Well, in that case, I would say we should do that. Not sure if that's what @MarkDunne wanted as there is nothing regarding time in the question's requirements. |
