The old OSK will be inaccessible, but you shouldn't need it. The touch keyboard should automatically appear when you select the password/PIN input box regardless (if no hardware keyboard is attached). Windows has long had a random bug that causes this keyboard to fail to display on the login screen, but it is not related to ReplaceOSK. Unfortunately, I have never been able to identify a cause or a fix to point you towards--it seemingly resolves itself over time (likely as part of an update). |

I understand, but as I recall this worked before hand and now manually
calling for the on screen keyboard via the accessibility menu does nothing.
Can you confirm the error you are referring to for Windows includes
launching via the accessibility menu?

On my steam deck it only shows the touch keyboard when I touch the
password/pin input box, not if I select it by touchpad/right trigger.
Should it be working? Actually this behaviour annoys me a bit because I
don't like to touch the screen much as I like it very clean.

Hello @Lulech23, Is there still no fix for this problem? I've used OSK for years and have recently converted to ReplaceOSK (which is very good might I add) but this issue is something of a deal breaker. My only other option at present is to remove the password from Windows altogether so the sign-in screen is bypassed straight to the desktop but this isn't an ideal workaround long term. It'd be much appreciated if a fix was possible here! 👍 |

When using this OSK replacement the login or sign in screen isn't able to display this or even the old osk rendering osk inoperable.
