Multiple Main Blocks

Having 2 main blocks that have the same total computing cost and depth as 1 main block would have about 1.414 times as many filters, which might do something interesting. A drawback is that the 2 blocks wont be able to communicate with each other until they reach the heads. Another idea is to have 2 secondary blocks that are half the depth but 1.414 times as wide at the front of the network, and then have the rest of the depth be a standard depth single block which would partially fix the lack of communication between the 2 secondary blocks.
