How do you make icons for your apps?

I want to publish my app on stores like snap store etc and I want to know how you make icons for your apps. I think they look amazing

Hi, Alpaca's icon was originally made by me but it was redesigned by Tobias Bernard

If your apps are made with Gnome in mind you could ask on Gnome's GitLab for help, maybe he could help you there.

Pigment's logo is completely created by me, I basically learned the basics of Inkscape and just made some stuff as I went, eventually I landed on the water drop logo it has now.

I suggest you put on a podcast and just play around on Inkscape, if you can't figure it out ask the nice people on Gnome to help you out!
