Surface implemented rules systems as GM-configurable feature toggles in campaign settings.

Scope

  • Dice & Combat Rules — Dice mode (app vs physical), hit thresholds, wound modifiers, limit enforcement, Edge action toggles
  • Character Creation Rules — Quality karma caps, attribute/skill caps at creation, gear availability, karma-to-nuyen conversion, carryover limits
  • Augmentation Rules — Essence-magic formula, essence holes, grade availability, cyberlimb attribute caps
  • Contact System — Rating limits, karma budget multiplier overrides
  • Creation Method Tuning — Sum-to-Ten budget, Point Buy karma/metatype costs, Life Modules caps
  • House Rules Infrastructure — Structured house rules schema with mechanical enforcement
  • Sourcebook Granularity — Per-metatype/per-content filtering within enabled books
