Keyboard and touchpad non functional

So everything was working perfectly! I had my system customized with keybindings and other scripts. But then, I was messing around with grub file, and I change the following line from:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="loglevel=3 quiet splash"
to
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="loglevel=3 quiet splash acpi_osi='Windows 2025"

Then I regenerated my grub file and rebooted the system. Now when I opened hyprland, the compositor was working good. I could see the notifications and the clock ticking, but for some reason, the system couldn't detect any touchpad or keyboard movement.

Then I switched it off via the power button (not sure how that button was working though..)
I undo the changes and regenerated the grub and rebooted again, but the system is still stuck with keyboard or touchpad input.

What could be the possible reason for this issue?

Another thing I forgot to mention, I had previously installed xfce as the backup DE. There the inputs are working fine. So it definitely seems some problem within hyprland itself.
