Before starting development it is important to download and install all of the following software. The following suite will allow you to work on all aspects of the project.

IDE

  • Visual Studio 2012 (C++, C#)
  • Brackets.io (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, INI)
    • jshint
    • Brackets Git
    • Beautify
    • Code Folding
  • an SQLite3 editor (sqlite, CDB)

Language Frameworks

  • Node.js
    • nodemon
    • http-server
    • mocha
    • istanbul
  • Go (Language from Google)
  • DirectX9 SDK

Support Software

  • premake4 (installed to C:\Windows)
  • Filezilla
  • Google Chrome / Chromium
  • Skype
  • Puush (or similar software)
  • Git (Github, Brackets Git, or similar software)
  • The GIMP
