Code Review
This pull request from Snyk upgrades react-instantsearch to address a security vulnerability. However, this is a major version upgrade (v5 to v6) that introduces significant breaking changes, which will cause the application to fail. The codebase needs to be updated to handle new import paths, and an outdated types package must be removed. Additionally, the yarn.lock file needs to be regenerated and committed.

This upgrade to react-instantsearch v6.0.0 is a major version change that introduces breaking changes. The application code and other dependencies must be updated for compatibility.
-
Code changes required: The import paths for
react-instantsearchcomponents have changed. Imports from'react-instantsearch/dom'must be updated to'react-instantsearch'. Files likesrc/app/pages/Search/index.tsxandsrc/app/pages/Search/Results/index.jsare affected. Without these changes, the application will fail to build or run. -
Outdated type definitions: The
@types/react-instantsearchpackage indevDependencies(line 296) is for v5 and is now incompatible.react-instantsearchv6 includes its own TypeScript definitions, so@types/react-instantsearchshould be removed. -
yarn.lockupdate: As mentioned in the PR description, theyarn.lockfile needs to be updated by runningyarnand committing the resulting changes.

Snyk has created this PR to fix 1 vulnerabilities in the yarn dependencies of this project.
Snyk changed the following file(s):
packages/app/package.jsonNote for zero-installs users
If you are using the Yarn feature zero-installs that was introduced in Yarn V2, note that this PR does not update the
.yarn/cache/directory meaning this code cannot be pulled and immediately developed on as one would expect for a zero-install project - you will need to runyarnto update the contents of the./yarn/cachedirectory.If you are not using zero-install you can ignore this as your flow should likely be unchanged.
