NASA Core Flight System (cFS) wrapper

Hi there,

I was wondering if Basilisk provided a cFS wrapper and some documentation on how to use it. I found the paper "An End-To-End Flight Software Development Approach Using Micropython and The Basilisk Software Testbed" by Dr. Cols-Margenet.

Hence, is there a recommended integration method of BSK into a Core Flight System or even a wrapper you could point us to?

These scripts were written specifically for the mission we were working on, and are not openly available. Other companies who use cFS also wrote their own cFS apps to integrate BSK modules.

My company Care Weather recently launched a second satellite that incorporates Basilisk Modules in our control software. I am researching tools/methods of wrapping Basilisk modules and scripts for use in CFS or Micropython or any other translation or integration strategy that others have used to integrate basilisk modules into their FSW.

If anyone has any examples or information about this I would love to know. I am also interested in creating a standardized method for this process if you'd like to reach out @schaubh.

Howdy @cpaul-mech , thanks for the interest in migrating BSK simulations of FSW to CFS etc. Companies have created their own in-house methods to achieve this. Glad to chat, after the fall semester ends, about ways of making a standardized way to do this.
