What happened?
Error loading script: controlnet.py

The extension is broken or incomplete
Something may have gone wrong during download or update.

Fix:
Close the WebUI
Open this folder: stable-diffusion-webui/extensions
Delete the folder: sd-webui-controlnet

Start WebUI again

Go to Extensions → Install from URL and reinstall: https://github.com/Mikubill/sd-webui-controlnet

This error does NOT mean Stable Diffusion itself is broken.
It only means ControlNet failed to load. You can usually still generate images — just without ControlNet.

ControlNet does not load properly if models are missing or incorrect.
Are your models in the correct folder?
---> stable-diffusion-webui/models/ControlNet

If ControlNet Tab is completely missing...
then the extension is not loaded correctly.

Check:
Extensions → Installed → sd-webui-controlnet

Or

Freshly install ControlNet

In the WebUI:
Extensions → Install from URL

Insert URL:
https://github.com/Mikubill/sd-webui-controlnet

Click on Install → wait until finished.

Then on Apply and restart UI
