What is wrong?

Content inside the footer on the above page is not visible

The issue was caused by globally overriding Bootstrap grid classes:

.col-md-1, .col-md-4, .col-md-6, .col-md-8 {
  background-color: aliceblue;
  border: 1px solid darkgrey;
  margin-bottom: 10px;
  padding: 10px;
}

Since .col-md-* classes are used throughout the layout (including the footer), these styles unintentionally modified the footer’s structure by changing background color.
