I am attempting to read Elster R2S electric meters.
I am receiving what appear to be correct SCM packets. However most of the meter IDs are implausible. They should be in the range of 1xxxxxxx but read 4xxxxxxx or 5xxxxxxx. I know what the IDs should be because they are part of a utility system I am familiar with.
The consumption data seems reasonable - increasing at a reasonable rate.
Could it be that I am not reading all of the information due to some of the channels being outside my bandwidth? I am using an RTL-SDR V4. The meters are all part of a mesh network.
